Let's strife to unseat incompetent NPP's administration – Opare Addo to NDC youth
The National Youth Organiser of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr George Opare Addo, has urged the Ho Central Constituency Youth Wing of the party in the Volta Region to strive diligently to unseat the incompetent Akufo-Addo and Bawumia government in the December 2024 elections.
Mr Opare Addo made these remarks while addressing the media during the inauguration of the Ho Central Constituency Youth Wing office.
The newly established office complex aims to coordinate the youth wing's activities in the constituency leading up to the general elections.
He urged the youth wing to mobilise young people, especially those who have recently turned 18, to register during the upcoming limited voter registration exercise by the Electoral Commission of Ghana.
This, he emphasised, would enable them to exercise their right to vote in the upcoming elections.
Constituency Youth Organiser for Ho Central, Noah Dzikpor, emphasised the significance of the upcoming elections, citing the government's failure to generate employment for the growing number of unemployed youth.
He stressed that this situation had led to significant hardships for many young people, affecting their prospects for a better future.
Mr Dzikpor called on all youth in the Constituency to rally behind the NDC’s efforts to secure victory in the elections, emphasising the need for a change in leadership to create job opportunities and improve their quality of life.
As a demonstration of support, the Youth Organiser also presented a pick-up vehicle for the use of the youth wing in the constituency.
Parliamentary candidate for the area, Mr Edem Kofi Kpotosu, highlighted the vital role of the youth in securing victory for the party in the upcoming elections.
He underscored their importance as active participants in shaping the future of the Constituency and the nation as a whole
